This Philly Stake is geared towards supporting creative and imaginative proposals from visual and performing artists that engage communities through artistic practice. We are excited to collaborate with The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and Drexel University's Center for Hospitality and Sports Management for this special event.

Philly Stake is a recurring event celebrating locally sourced food and creative community projects, and organized completely by volunteers. Stake dinners are seasonal meals sourced from local farms and purveyors. At each dinner, project proposals are presented to the diners. Proceeds from community members pay for dinner and an opportunity to vote for the projects they deem most worthy of funding. These projects aim to contribute to the vitality of Philadelphia in a multitude of innovative ways. Awardees will leave with the dinner proceeds and will present their project at the next meal.
