Description:

Rustin and The March, by William di Canzio

directed by Benjamin Lloyd

dedicated to the memory of Reuben Mitchell

Synopsis: A black Quaker born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, mentor of Martin Luther King, architect of the 1963 March on Washington, global ambassador for nonviolence and democracy, Bayard Rustin may be the most famous American you’ve never heard of.  Why?  He was also an openly gay man when to be so was held to be a perversion, a sickness, and a crime.
